Automatic application of red light
S1 is not simply a portable speed camera, it is a complex traffic control device (CTCD) based on ANPR.
One of its notable functions is the automatic detection of red light crossings: through a double lens, the device simultaneously checks the traffic light status and the movement of the vehicle to instantly alert if a red light crossing occurs. Of course, vehicles are automatically identified by license plate and evidence is saved, all done by a smart team.
S1 is an ANPR camera that identifies sprinters even from 1 kilometer away, thanks to unique high-precision laser technology. There's more: this portable speed camera can automatically find stolen vehicles, detect running red lights and vehicles with unpaid insurance, thanks to the on-board blacklist function.
function and design
The unit is ready to go in less than 2 minutes after opening its carrying case. It is all in one, there is no need to connect any plugin. The built-in ANPR engine, IR illumination, laser tracker, GPS, WiFi and 4G modem are all there, protected under the durable IP54 compliant fiberglass reinforced plastic casing.
