Dual optics, dual color sensors

Vidar has a dual camera system with a primary imaging system for license plate recognition, plus a secondary camera that you decide what to use for. It can be perfect to have a general picture of the given section of road. Alternatively, it can be used as a substantial ANPR camera, capturing traffic with different settings, so even in the most challenging light conditions (such as dusk), you can guarantee detection and rate accuracy. In its own way, the number of missed events will converge to zero.

Automatic application of red light

S1 is not simply a portable speed camera, it is a complex traffic control device (CTCD) based on ANPR.
One of its notable functions is the automatic detection of red light crossings: through a double lens, the device simultaneously checks the traffic light status and the movement of the vehicle to instantly alert if a red light crossing occurs. Of course, vehicles are automatically identified by license plate and evidence is saved, all done by a smart team.
